THESE CLASSES ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO DANCE!
Come along to improve your dance technique and increase your flexibility, strength, co-ordination and general fitness levels in a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere. These are fun, adult contemporary dance classes for beginner/intermediates in Frome, Somerset.
If you've never experienced a contemporary dance class before, you can expect quite a physical class with fluid dance movement and exercises that challenge and increase flexibility, co-ordination and strength. Some sequences are floor-based, meaning moving/dancing with much of our body in contact with the floor, i.e. rolling or sliding. This may involve getting up and back down in quick succession. It’s not a fitness class like say, Zumba, but you will get fitter!
The class is aimed to accommodate a range of abilities. There is usually a mix of ages and experience in each class and within the session there are always different movement options if something doesn't feel right for your body.

Exclusively for children of Avanti Park School - Years 5/6/7
The children will have the opportunity to experience different ways of moving expressively to a wide range of great music. They will learn and create movement that is both creative and fun, developing their flexibility and general fitness levels and a love of dance. We will work towards a sharing at the end of each term.
